Diaper Debacle

Diaper Genie diaper pails are only good if the diaper is folded small enough that it falls through the opening at the top of the can. If the diaper is too big then you have to manually push the diaper through the hole. Chances are that if you’re pushing the diaper through the hole then in the squeezing and smashing process a wee bit of diaper goo is oozing out the edges and sticking to the Diaper Genie bag. The next time you have to push a diaper through you’re getting the earlier goo all over your hand. Maybe we’re the only house having this problem but regardless, we think it’s gross.

This issue led us to a lengthy conversation about folding dirty diapers. It turns out that there are several ways to fold said diapers and after comparing each of our methods someone came out as the clear winner.

The diaper on the left is most likely to easily fall down the Diaper Genie hole and least likely to leave behind a goopy-grimy-slimy residue.

In the spirit of turning everything into a competition, who do you think is the proud owner of the perfectly folded, goop proof, diaper on the left?
